Belgrade's attempt to undermine Ahtisaari's plan was strongly taken to task by both the Albanian politicians and society at large. In actual fact Belgrade tried to introduce so-called six points or conditions, as strings attached to any EULEX deployment in North Kosovo, whereby those conditions, essentially deny the status of Kosovo and its Constitution into which Ahtisaari's plan was built.
